Four More Down And Twelve Idols To Go

I'll cut right to the quick of it and tell you that the two Idols with the lowest votes this week are Kinnik Sky and Will Makar. Both were graceful and cheerful with their parting comments.

Now before the first two cuts, we were entertained by last year's runner up, another Alabama superstar Bo Bice, as he did a lackluster performance of his current hit song.

The last two cuts were in typical Seacrest fashion as he started with the ladies and selectively put the girls up on theer pedestal one at a time. In the end, it was a teary-eyed Ayla Brown that joined Kinnik Sky and will be going home this week.

The guys endured the same Seacrest torment and it was between Bucky and Gideon at the end and Buckie made the cut. Good luck in your new music career Gedeon... you'll go far and will be missed.

So that's it. We'll say goodbye for now to Kinnik Sky, Ayla Brown, Gedeon McKinney and Will Makar. You are all rising stars and we look forward to seeing you shine forever.

It was heartbreaking to watch Ayla cry. You can tell from her bio tha she has excelled in her every endeavor, but unfortunately, not this endeavor. (not at this time, anyway)
She appears to be the classic "overachiever", unable to deal with setbacks because she has been taught to believe that "if you work hard enough, and want something badly enough, you will have it." And while I do believe the same thing, sometimes it's just not the right time or place for these dreams to come true.
Praying is great, but even God says "No" sometimes, or even "Not Yet."
Sorry Ayla,
maybe next time. :)

Good point Sweetie. I'm sure that Ayla will be accomplishing monumental achievements throughout her life. She really is a winner, regardless of the final Idol results. She was picked in the top 16 of how many contestants?

Love Ya!
