I've been trying to find a site that has the kind of infrastructure capable of really making a difference for our members when they are looking for ways to give back to the planet.

We're Emerging Faster Than Planned...
PlanetWebSite may just be one of the world's fastest emerging stars, reports Bruce Shoop, webmaster and founder of the planet's newest and most promissing internet phenomonon to emerge to date. "I am just not sure if we're ready for the kind of growth that I believe we are about to see...", says Shoop, who has also begun developing a virtual web community know as The Global Webishere!
The concept for PlanetWebSite has been in the works since 1998 when the Miami born programmer turned graphic designer turned sign guy first thought of the name while applying gold metallic vinyl checkerboards to beautifully finished 36" solid maple chessboards for the entertainment giant Walt Disney World.
"I remember thinking to myself that it was hard to believe that I'm sitting here in this garage at 1:30 in the morning working on 200 limited-edition commemorative chessboards for Disney World. I mean the pieces were 12" tall pewter Disney characters. What a huge opportunity... we've got to tell the world... the planet... how about a website for all the news on the planet... hmmm... Planet Hollywood sure is big these days... how about "planet web,"...no, "web planet,"...no, then it hit me... PLANETWEBSITE! It's Perfect!"

PlanetWebSite.NET! The dream becomes reality and my universe expands just a little bit more. On February 9th, 2006, I received a notice that I had successfully captured PLANETWEBSITE.NET that was on backorder for nearly 9 months! It's a boy! Grin...Okay maybe that wasn't funny. Anyway, things are evolving at warp speed for me and my loving soul mate and soon to be wife Brenda. Please follow us on our journey as we circumnavigate the globe. First stop is Hawaii some time in the spring of 2007. Between now and then I am gearing up for the launch..oops...and the wedding! {-

Search Engine Optimization!
I've embarked on a new focus for improving our web experiences. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is my next hurdle to overcome in this whole Webisphere thing. I have to give some special recognition to a good friend and business associate of mine, Steven Howell with Crystal View Chemicals, Inc. This hard working son-of-a-gun called me about two weeks ago and said "Bruce, we're in!". I knew immediately what he meant.. we made it into Wal-Mart! Now that's exciting, considering I was there from conception with Steve, as his graphic designer and general sounding board for the long up-hill battle of dealing with the enormous task of preparing a retail product for global distribution. At last my creativity and graphic design experience pay off with some widespread distribution.
